Mr E.W. Barker was one of our founding leaders. He drafted the founding documents of modern Singapore & helmed five different ministries, including as our first and longest serving Law Minister. <br /><br />A natural sportsman, he excelled in every sport he played. He is best loved for his contributions to developing Singapore’s sports scene - building our National Stadium and as President of the Singapore National Olympic Council. <br /><br />His larger than life character was not defined by the public offices he held.
